The neighborhood

A finished street, city services, and room to breathe.

Penn’s Landing replats nine acres of Rorer’s Subdivision into nineteen buildable single-family lots. A new concrete public street runs north from E. Pennington Street and ends in a cul-de-sac, so there is no through traffic past the homes.

Every lot is served by City of West Burlington water and sanitary sewer, with Alliant Energy gas and electric, and new sidewalks along the street. Outlot 1 — 1.32 acres on the west edge — is reserved for the City for drainage and storm water detention, which means the open space behind the west row of lots stays open.

Lots are zoned R-3 and run from 0.31 to 0.50 acres, with a 20-foot front setback and a 35-foot rear setback.
